Acadia Community Foundation The David Lynn Freeman MeetingHouse

Welcome to the MeetingHouse

Home to the Acadia Community Foundation, the MeetingHouse was dedicated to David Lynn Freeman in 2021.  More than a chapel, this wonderful venue was created for weddings, meetings, concerts, recitals, non-denominational services and other gatherings.  The MeetingHouse is open free to the public (RSVP required) for the Sunday Concert Series and Tuesday Talks (scheduled throughout the year). The MeetingHouse is also available to rent for private functions (no food or beverage, and seating limited to 100 guests).  The MeetingHouse reflects the mission of the Acadia Community Foundation to preserve and enhance the civic and environmental life along the Saluda River Basin in Greenville, South Carolina.

Please fill out the online form to check availability and rental rates for your event. Once you have reached out, Mary Freeman, the Executive Director of the Acadia Community Foundation will contact you to answer questions and provide the MeetingHouse rental agreement  for your review.
